    Jeffrey P. Blum has served as a family law attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 42 years. He is a trained mediator, arbitrator, litigator, private judge, and active member of the community. He has served on the Palo Alto Human Relation’s Commission for 6 years, serving as chair of the commission for 1 year. He also served on the YMCA Board of Directors. He previously volunteered with the Palo Alto Mediation Program and is a hearing officer for the city of Mountain View. Currently he is a commissioner in Los Gatos and a member of the Los Gatos Rotary.

    Jeffrey P. Blum has successfully resolved hundreds of family law cases, including cases involving child custody/visitation, support, domestic violence and property division. He is an experienced mediator who has taught mediation at Stanford and lectured on mediation as well as other topics to professionals. He founded the Family Law Section and was co-chair of it for the Palo Alto Bar Association. He is also on the Alternate Dispute Resolution Panel for Santa Clara and San Mateo County Courts serving as a mediator & arbitrator and he has also served as a Temporary Judge.

    Jeffrey P. Blum graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. degree as an English and Political Science major and he received his law degree from Golden Gate University. While in law school he clerked for Superior Court Judge Lionel Wilson in Alameda County
    Jeffrey P. Blum has been recognized for his talent, knowledge and experience by the local Family Law Bar, as is evidenced by his appointment to serve as a volunteer Judge Pro Tem and to serve on the Alternate Dispute Resolution Panel in San Mateo County. He is well respected by judges and peers for his integrity and his tireless, responsive and creative approach to his cases.
